项目概述

The 西萨克拉门托市 receives an annual allocation of 社区发展 Block Grant (CDBG) funding from the U.S. Department of 住房 and Urban Development (HUD). The goal of the CDBG Program is to develop and maintain viable urban communities by providing decent housing, a suitable living environment and expanded economic opportunities for persons from low- and moderate-income households.

In accordance with program guidelines, the City must develop a five-year Consolidated Plan and an Annual Action Plan for every year of the Consolidated Plan that outlines the goals and objectives regarding how the City will expend its yearly CDBG allocation. Links to these plans and the program's documents can be found below.

The 西萨克拉门托市 has been awarded CDBG-CV funding through the Coronavirus Aid, 救援, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) from the United States Department of 住房 and Urban Development (HUD).

The 社区发展 Block Grant Coronavirus Response Supplement (CDBG-CV) will support the critical community needs related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The CDBG-CV Program has three national objectives. Each proposed activity must meet one of these national objectives:

  • Provide a direct benefit(s) to low to moderate income persons
  • Prevent or eliminate slum or blight
  • Address an urgent need or problem within the community

Funds awarded under the CDBG-CV Program must be utilized to prevent, 为......准备, and respond to the coronavirus. Allowable projects and purchases include, 但不限于, housing assistance payments for rent, 抵押贷款, 和公用事业, 送餐送药, 职业培训, health services for infectious disease response (testing, diagnostics or other services), 购买设备, 供应, and materials necessary to carry-out public service that is related to the coronavirus.
